Local Taxation has to be collected in an effective, efficient, professional and sensitive manner. Jacobs are totally committed to providing clients with a bespoke service that combines the required sensitivity with high collection rates.

Working with clients Jacobs structure revolves around accountable Recovery Teams. Each client has dedicated resources looking after their caseload under the supervision of the Recovery Administration Manager and the Partners.

Clients are able to view cases on line (ClientWeb) for up to date information including full case history, all visits made, all fees raised, all phone calls, all correspondence received and sent along with all payments made.

Jacobs guarantee that our first contact with each debtor is by a personal visit by one of our full-time certificated bailiffs Cases are progressed through Jacobs' system automatically and our quality control (BSEN 9001:2000) procedures ensure all client requirements are fully met and cases are actioned in a prompt and effective manner.

Although rare, complaints are dealt with by a formal procedure. Any complaint received is copied to the local authority along with our response and recommendations. Complaints are responded to within 5 working days of receipt. Complaints are analysed every 6 months to identify any trends and corrective / preventative action necessary.
