Reappointed At Rotherham MBC
- Posted: 22/08/2012
With their current bailiff services contract requiring review, Rotherham MBC undertook a formal procurement exercise to appoint suppliers to a framework agreement, for the collection of Local Taxation and all Corporate Debt, including Sundry & Housing Benefit Overpayments.
The Council had structured the framework as a National Framework, allowing other Contracting Authorities to use and formally procure services, with Rotherham Borough Council as the central purchasing body for this purpose.
As existing suppliers to Rotherham, for over 6 years, Jacobs are delighted to be selected onto the framework to continue working in partnership.
Paul Kelly, Client Services Manager, and Contract Manager for Rotherham, said " The procurement exercise was very rigorous and involved a three stage process, commencing with PQQ, leading to ITT, and concluding with formal presentations and Interviews. We are very pleased to be able to continue our partnership with the Council and look forward to continuing our service delivery based on performance, customer care and added value with year on year improvement"
The Contracting Authorities who will be entitled to call-off orders under the agreement are all of the Local Authorities in the United Kingdom, details of which can be found in the Municipal Yearbook published by Hemming Information Services, a division of the Hemming Group Limited, whose e-mail address is: myb@hgluk.com '
