The Largest Council in the UK Appoint Jacobs

Jacobs have been appointed by Birmingham City Council for the collection and enforcement of Parking Warrants.
Following a very comprehensive formal 3 stage procurement exercise which comprised of Pre-Qualification Questionnaire, Invitation to Tender and Interview process Jacobs were selected to work in partnership with the council.

Jacobs Retain South Lakeland & Eden Councils

Jacobs are very proud to announce that we have been reappointed, through formal procurement exercise, at South Lakeland District Council and Eden District Council.
Both Councils undertook a joint procurement exercise as part of collaborative working initiatives and to save costs and share best practice.
After a very thorough procedure, Jacobs were selected as sole supplier to collect Local Taxation and all corporate debt.

Dacorum Council Choose Jacobs

Jacobs continue to build our client base with the latest appointment to Dacorum Council.

Jacobs continue to expand our client base in the North East with the latest appointment at South Tyneside Council.

Jacobs Accepted as Organisational Members of IRRV

Jacobs have been accepted as Organisational Members of the Institute of Revenues, Rating & Valuation (IRRV)
The IRRV is the professional body for all public and private sector organisations delivering services in Local Taxation, Benefits, Property Valuation and all aspects of Revenues administration and collection.
Jacobs are keen supporters of the Institute at both national and regional level with our senior managers holding executive office at both the Lancashire & Cheshire and the North & Mid Wales Associations, in addition to speaking at national and regional conferences and meetings.

New Year - New Staff.. Jacobs New Business Development Manager Commences Role

The New Year is off to a great start with the arrival of our new Business Development Manager, Bethan Lewis, who started with the firm on 14th January 2013.
Bethan has over 20 years' experience in all aspects of Revenues, Benefits and Financial Systems, and was previously Systems and Compliance Manager for avarto UK & Ireland.
With Qualifications in the Institute of Revenues Rating and Valuation, in addition to holding the Silver Membership with the Institute of Customer Services, Bethan brings a strong and extensive skills base to the company.
Bethan Lewis, Business Development Manager, said "Jacobs has an excellent reputation for service delivery with local government and the enforcement profession and I am thrilled to join the team. My main focus will be business growth through the formal procurement process and identifying opportunities for new business".

Watford & Three Rivers Appoint Jacobs

Jacobs are keen to build a long term relationship with Watford & Three Rivers Councils having just been appointed to provide Council Tax, Business Rates and Sundry / Housing Benefits Overpayment debt collection.
Appointed as a new provider following open competition, under the ESPO Framework in early December, Jacobs submitted a formal documented response to the information required and attended formal Presentation and Interview.
Watford and Three Rivers revenues teams are working together in a shared service, and therefore a joint procurement exercise to procure services was undertaken.

Jacobs enter 2013 with a flying start and are highly delighted to have been appointed by the Isle of Wight Council, for collection of Council Tax, Business Rates and Parking charges outstanding to the council.

Jacobs Proud To Sponsor East Midlands IRRV Dinner

Jacobs were proud to sponsor, again this year, the IRRV East Midlands Association Dinner.
This year’s event was held in the prestigious Casa Hotel in Chesterfield, last Friday (16th November 2012) which attracted many Revenues & Benefits professionals from both Local Authority and Private Sectors.
With a drinks reception to start the evening, followed by formal dinner, and entertainment, it was an excellent evening.
The Jacobs table even won the Quiz!
