Jacobs Certificated Bailiffs are a quality assured firm that provide a nationwide debt recovery service. Jacobs work for over 150 local authorities in the enforcement of unpaid debts.
Jacobs was established in 1959 as an Enquiry and Detective Agency by Alan Jacobs and his father. In the 1980’s the company grew significantly when it diversified into Local Taxation Debt Recovery.
Paula Jacobs joined the company to assist her father in 1988 and Simon Jacobs joined in 1989. Both Paula and Simon were made Partners in 1992. Dave Cornes joined the company as a Business Development Manager and was later made Partner in 2001 when Alan retired.
Our approach is unique in that we offer clients a "family firm" ethos together with 50 years expertise in the industry.
